The Final Wishes

But Cortharina and Geoffrey Baker both held up their hands. 'Hold on just a minute!' they said together. 'We get our wishes too, now. We BOTH wish that Nani puts those tennis balls away before someone trips and breaks their butt!' Suddenly, Nani felt like he had no control over his body. Some mysterious magical force pulled him up the stairs, and his hands began gathering all the tennis balls, one by one, putting them away in their proper basket. When he came back down, Professor Mushroom announced his Christmas visit was over, and that he would come again next year. Nani hopped on his magnificent gyroscope and followed Professor Mushroom outside, waving and waving until he couldn't see the magical mushroom anymore. What a wonderful Christmas morning!
