The Christmas Tree

Nani got to the bottom of the stairs and turned into the living room. His breath caught in his throat. The tree was absolutely magnificent! It blazed with light - twinkling stars of red, green, gold, and silver. Underneath, shiny wrapped presents were piled up like a mountain of possibilities. Each one sparkled and gleamed, beckoning to be opened. Nani's eyes grew wide with wonder.
